Last Updated: January 5, 2026

These FAQs address common doubts about booking, muhurtham, required details, participation, payments, and support for esankalpam devotees.

Booking and process

Q1. How do I book a pooja on esankalpam?

Select your desired pooja from the catalog, enter devotee details, choose date/time/location, and confirm by making secure online payment; you then receive a confirmation message with all details.

Q2. Can I book a pooja for someone else?

Yes, you can book on behalf of family or friends by providing their names, gotra, and other required details, but ensure you have their consent.

Q3. How far in advance should I book?

For regular poojas, booking a few days in advance is usually sufficient, but for major homams, festivals, or specific temples, early booking is recommended to secure slots.

Muhurtham and timing

Q4. Do you provide muhurtham or auspicious time guidance?

Yes, for certain ceremonies (wedding, griha pravesh, naming, etc.), our associated astrologers/pandits can help suggest suitable muhurthams based on your birth details, subject to availability and separate consultation fees where applicable.

Q5. Will my pooja start exactly at the chosen time?

We strive to honour the selected slot, but actual start times may vary slightly due to temple schedules, preceding rituals, and local conditions; your sankalpa will still be taken within the chosen muhurtham window where applicable.

Required details and documents

Q6. What devotee details are required for booking?

Typically name, gotra, nakshatra (birth star), date of birth, and city of residence are requested, along with names of additional family members or business entities to be included in the sankalpa.

Q7. What should I arrange at home for a home pooja?

Our team or assigned pandit will share a basic checklist (e.g., clean space, water, vessels, some fruits, flowers, and common household items) while they usually carry special samagri; exact list varies by ritual.

Remote participation and live-stream

Q8. How does online/live pooja participation work?

On the scheduled day, you join via a live-stream link or video call to witness the pooja, repeat simple sankalpa mantras as guided, and offer prayers from your location while the ritual is done at temple or sacred space.

Q9. What if I cannot attend the live-stream?

The pooja will still be performed on your behalf using your submitted details; where possible, photos or short videos and a completion update will be shared afterwards.

Q10. Do I need special equipment to join online?

You only need a smartphone or computer with internet, speakers/headphones, and preferably a quiet space; video participation is optional unless specified.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Q11. What payment modes are accepted?

Common modes like UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets are typically supported through secure gateways; options will be displayed at checkout.

Q12. Is my payment information secure?

Transactions are processed through PCI-compliant gateways; we do not store full card or sensitive payment data on our servers beyond what is required for referencing and reconciliation.

Q13. Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Yes, subject to time-based rules defined in our Cancellation & Refund Policy; festival/special poojas may be non-cancellable and rescheduling is always subject to availability.

Prasadam and reports

Q14. Will I receive prasadam for every pooja?

Some services include prasadam delivery while others may be "puja only"; each pooja page clearly mentions whether prasadam is shipped, to which locations, and any additional charges.

Q15. How long does it take to get prasadam?

Depending on temple location and courier timelines, prasadam is generally dispatched within a few working days after pooja completion and delivered within the standard shipping window for your area.

Support and grievances

Q16. How can I contact support for issues or special requests?

You can reach our support via email, phone, or WhatsApp during working hours; details are provided on the Contact Us page and in your confirmation messages.

Q17. What if I am not satisfied with the service?

Please share details of your concern with order ID and description; our team will review recording/logs with the pandit/temple and respond in line with our service, refund, and grievance policies.
