Last Updated: January 5, 2026
These guidelines are designed to ensure a seamless, spiritual, and respectful experience for all devotees participating in events and poojas organized by esankalpam.
General Conduct
- Respect the Sanctity: Please maintain silence and decorum within the temple or event premises. Mobile phones should be on silent mode.
- Dress Code: Traditional or modest attire is recommended. Avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, or inappropriate clothing.
- Punctuality: Arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to complete any registration or seating formalities.
Participation
- Sankalpam Details: Ensure all details provided for the Sankalpam (Name, Gotra, Nakshatra) are accurate. Corrections may not be possible once the ritual begins.
- Family Participation: If you have booked for a family, ensure all members reflect the count provided during registration. Seating is often allocated based on booking numbers.
- Offerings: While most required materials are provided, if you wish to bring flowers or fruits, please check the specific event details or contact the coordinator.
Health & Safety
- Illness: If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of a contagious illness, please participate remotely (if available) to protect the community.
- Children: Children are welcome but must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times to prevent disruption of the rituals.
Remote/Online Participation
- Connectivity: Ensure you have a stable internet connection for live-streamed events.
- Setup: Create a quiet, clean space in your home for participation. Keeping a diya (lamp) lit during the pooja is considered auspicious.
- Timing: Log in 5-10 minutes early to resolve any technical issues before the sankalpam begins.
